Being on the internet doesn't mean I'm wasting my time away playing Facebook games, or any other games for that matter. I don't really like playing computer games actually (save Maplestory, which was a thousand years ago and I don't play it now). The last thing I've played was actually Playing with Fire II hahahaha wtf during class chalet and that's about it. I got sick of it within 10 minutes. Definitely not because I kept bombing myself.
My parents keep thinking that I'm online doing these useless stuff all the time. Come on, I do do quite some useless things online but that doesn't mean I do it all the time! In fact I think I've learn quite a lot from whatever I've been doing (beats me, I just go from one website to another, one forum to another).
Why did I post this, oh because my Dad very subtlely told me to read one newspaper article "Too much time online hurts your grades: Polls"
THANKS, DAD. I'm brimming with gratitude. (He even cut the article out I'm worried he'll paste in on my bedroom wall when I'm not at home okay kidding my Dad doesn't do stuff like that but I won't say the same for my Mum or my sister, who knows she may do it just for the heck of it)
Although to console myself, the article says so much about Facebook, World of Warcraft, Counter-strike all of which I don't really play much. I go Facebook mainly to untag all not-so-glam pictures and leave a few comments here and there.
Okay to be fair, I have been spending a rather large (no joke) amount of time on the computer. And now I'm going. To complete my friggin' holiday homework.
I'm not addicted I'm not addicted I'm not addicted!! I REALLY AREN'T.
